What languages are in the book?
Before Stretch Goals, there are 18 languages in the book—every language that 5e players are typically expected to have access to. We will also continue to add a few languages throughout the campaign based on how many Stretch Goals we unlock!
Each language has its own detailed runic lore and 20 magic runes ready for your games. These languages are also all supported by related race and subclass options, as well as monsters, to help you seamlessly incorporate the rune system into your worlds!
The languages are: - The 8 “Standard” languages: Common, Dwarvish, Elvish, Giant, Gnomish, Goblin, Halfling, Orc - The 8 “Rare” (aka “Exotic”) languages: Abyssal, Celestial, Deep Speech, Draconic, Infernal, Primordial, Sylvan, Undercommon - The 2 class-specific languages: Druidic, Thieves’ Cant - Unlocked Stretch Goal languages: Command, Necril, Nodal, Sahuagin, Serpentine, Sphinx, +1 Backer-Voted Language

What is the "Masters of the Gauntlet Compendium"?
Masters of the Gauntlet (aka MotG) is a comprehensive 260+ page collection of the best races, subclasses, magic items, monsters, and more that Spectre Creations has released over the past 4 years. It is a living PDF compendium that is updated with the newest content each month and distributed via Patreon.
Running Kickstarter campaigns provides a unique opportunity to distribute this compendium on a single-issue basis, which is perfect for folks not looking to subscribe on Patreon.
If Masters of the Gauntlet is part of your pledge tier, or you select it as an add-on, you will receive access to the July 2023 edition of the compendium shortly after the campaign ends (once pledges process and the pledge manager is set up).
Alternatively, you can get the compendium immediately by subscribing over on Patreon at the Arena Master tier or higher. (If you don’t want to stick around to keep receiving updates of the latest content each month, you can simply unsubscribe after downloading the current version.)

What is the "Cosmic Bundle"?
In late 2020, I ran a Kickstarter for a 38-page softcover book: the Cosmic Dragon Breviary. It contains a novel line of neutral-aligned Cosmic Dragons, and is filled with new lore and monsters, as well as related races, subclasses, spells, magic items, and more.
This bundle includes a softcover print and PDF of the book, as well the digital (self-print) Monster Cards and the expanded Cosmic Minions & More PDF with 12 additional monsters.
If you’d like to order any individual piece of this project (and receive digital rewards immediately), you can do so over at: SpectreCreations.com/cosmic-dragon-breviary

How can I use the Runic Fonts?
Every language in the book will have its own unique runic script, complete with letters, numbers, and punctuation. These languages are all typable fonts for your computer, so anywhere you can use fonts you’ve installed, you will be able to type in or convert text to (for example) Elvish, just by selecting it from your font list.
These fonts are for personal use only, meaning you can use them as much as you want for non-commercial purposes. If you would like to use one of these scripts for commercial or editorial purposes—that is to say, as part of a publication, such as a book, PDF, website, video, artwork, or other content—please contact me at [email protected] to obtain a commercial-use license.

Why are the Bookmarks, Elvish dice, and other physical rewards not listed as add-on options for my pledge?
The PDF Tier is limited to “digital rewards only,” meaning the add-ons shown at that tier don’t include any physical rewards (no shipping involved).
If you’d like to mix and match digital and physical rewards, but you’re not looking to get the hardcover book, you’ll need to change your pledge to the Add-On Tier and then select the PDF, Bookmarks, Dice, and any other add-ons you’d like there.

What Virtual Tabletop platforms will be supported?
Currently, the following VTTs will definitely be supported with a custom module: Foundry, Roll20, and Shard Tabletop. Once all rewards are delivered to backers, we will revisit getting modules for the book onto other VTTs.
In the meantime, other VTT platforms will be supported as best we can via the VTT Token Pack add-on, which includes every monster in the book, as well as bonus VTT tokens for your characters and NPCs!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
